An old photo, taken on one of my last film cameras, of the snowy, rocky peaks of the French Alps. It was, I am about 95% sure, taken from the Auguille de Midi viewing platform after getting the cable car from Chamonix. The photo is colour, but looks black and white, except for small glimpses of colour in the clothes of the tiny people hiking up the smooth snowy slope at the bottom right of the image (well, they look tiny, I suspect they are average sized people in reality). Wispy clouds hang both above and below the rocky peaks.

das foto im querformat zeigt einen bündel an lilafarbenen krokussen von oben fotografiert.
eine blüte ist im mittelpunkt des bildes. die anderen blüten wirken wie kreisförmig um die eine angeordnet.
das licht fällt zart auf die krokusse. das bild hat starke, intensive farben. an den rändern wirkt es dunkel vignettiert.

Spirits of the River | Spioradan na h-aibhne
An abstract art project shot on three of the rivers of Scotland - the Ness, the Clyde and the Tay - using #ICM and lights reflected in the waters.
Taking these I was inspired by/reminded of a Jackson Pollock quote: “Energy and motion made visible – memories arrested in space."
