A lot of us were truly surprised years ago when some of the #AngryBirds against #StringTheory came out with statements to the effect that for decades stringers had been *stealing their lunch money* like it had been the only game in town. Many of us had to say Fark ! Where were we ? We missed it !

Beginning most of 24 hours travel from Montreal to Bangkok for the 122nd meeting on the Internet Engineering Task Force, #IETF122. First a 14.5 hour flight to Delhi on Air Canada, then a 4-hour layover.. and then a 4-hour flight to Bangkok. It turns out to take a long time to get to the other side of the world! 
Looking forward to attending an #IETF meeting in-person for the first time since before the pandemic! (I have attended remotely a few times since.)
